# API interface for Text2Text generation task

Hi,

[Documentation](https://api-inference.huggingface.co/docs/python/html/detailed_parameters.html#text2text-generation-task) for Text2Text generation task mentions adding more options in the future.

I tried Inference API on my encoder/decoder Text2Text generation and I noticed that not all parameters are passed to generate method call. Any updates on task upgrades?
