# Data\_files not working with custom loading script and remote dataset

As I shared here [Data files not working with custom loading script and dataset - #4 by Howuhh](https://discuss.huggingface.co/t/data-files-not-working-with-custom-loading-script-and-dataset/38267/4) it will not work even if loading script uses data\_files, as links will be not properly formatted
