# Inference API, character per organization or per user?

Hi, I use the inference API, I have 3 or 4 organizations for different start-ups, I’m not sure if the character are counted per use or per org? Seems to have a strange behavior, sometimes every org lose characters sometimes just a single one? Or I just messed up with my API keys?
