Hello

I was wondering why should I have a own setup in my company to generate images from text, when the same can be done by chatGPT or any other service online?

Image generated by huggingface on my local setup

Well… If you think about it seriously, I think it’s a philosophical question.

To put it simply, my motivation is easy to explain…
In my case, I like things that I can disassemble and reassemble myself as much as possible. No matter how excellent or inexpensive a black box is, I don’t find it interesting.

Thanks @John6666

I work for a tech startup in Mumbai doing Online-Events, India. We are migrating from .com to AI. And i am a developer at the company.

Say, if I want to develop my own codebase (like you), what all should I be doing? What should be my 5 year roadmap? Please advise.

Thank You.

Hmm… I’m not a professional developer, so I can’t offer any particularly useful advice…
I’ve listed some useful resources on Hugging Face in the following post.
